A nyone who's fun, openminded, up for a laff or a beer (or a martini or whatever, I'm not prejudiced-I love alcohol in all its forms), and is mostly sane. Your new car and your designer clothes won't impress me. Don't look at my pictures and assume I'm here for sex, it'll be a loooooong time til we knock dem boots, if ever. I don't want anyone chasing me around with a cleaver. And I don't need someone nagging at me, I have a mom for that. Finally, if your pics were taken by the local PD, I guess I'd say no. But the rest of you can say howdy and maybe we can chat or something.

Music:
M y fave band is Guster, followed closely by Dave Matthews, Five For Fighting, Nickelback, and Love Arcade. Also like Hellogoodbye, Angie Aparo, Matt Nathanson, Sam Roberts, Good Charlotte, Tom Waits, Bedouin Soundclash, Kasabian, DMX, Tchaikovsky, Johnny Cash, Kenny Rogers n Dolly Parton (who put the "old" in old school country music!), Fall Out Boy, Tom Jones, Rob Zombie, Enya, Janah, Hanson (don't laff!), some of the boy bands' stuff is okay, Wyclef Jean, Savage Garden, Annie Lennox, and there's the divas Mariah, Whitney, Janet, Cher, and Madonna, O.A.R., Bangkok Five, Wintersleep, Album Leaf, Roman Candle, Avett Brothers, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Arcade Fire, Eldridge Rodriguez, and really I could go on all day...
Movies:
R ob Roy is my # 1. Carlito's Way, The Big Lebowski, Halloween, Aliens, The Professional, Clerks, The Bridges of Madison County, Life As A House, V For Vendetta, A History of Violence, Tommy Boy, and 16 Blocks are almost as good. The Goonies, any Kevin Smith movie, Clint Eastwood movies especially the westerns, Hitchcockian thrillers, A Beautiful Thing, Mr. Wrong, Zoolander, National Lampoon's Vacation movies, Ruthless People, Sprung, Broken Hearts Club, Orange County, Terminators, Predator, all the Alien movies really (but not AVP), most of Adam Sandler's comedies, X-Men (third one I could have lived without), Fathom, Animal House, Neighobrs, Road To Perdition, You've Got Mail, Zorro movies, anything James Bond but Mr. Connery really is the best one, Go, Don't Come Knocking, Eating Out, Broadway Damage, Black Hawk Down, Serial Mom, anything with Harrison Ford in it, Trust The Man, Liar Liar, The Net, anything Star Wars or Star Trek for the geek in me, Dutch, Anchorman, The Muppet Movie, The Fox and the Hound, Legend, The Matrix trilogy, all the Rockys, the cheesy Godzilla movies, Trick, kung fu but especially Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Iron Monkey, and Kung Fu Hustle, Cliffhanger, American Pies, Kindergarten Cop, Down And Out In Beverly Hills, Escape From New York, The Hard Way, Jackass 1 & 2, the Toy Storys, Grosse Point Blank, and Clue. Guess I could have just said "alot".
Television:
A rrested Development was the funniest show ever and I almost cried when they cancelled it. Family Guy, Simpsons, Drawn Together, Reno 911, Boston Legal, Shark, The Unit, Navy NCIS, Chicago Hope, Golden Girls, anything on the Food Network, Discovery channel, or Travel, The Muppet Show, Tilt, Newhart, La Femme Nikita, Thundarr The Barbarian was the best cartoon ever, but the Transformers were always cool, Kate & Allie, Dallas n Falcon Crest, Lost for the first season then it just got lame, Project Runway, The Naked Truth, SNL, In Living Color, Dukes of Hazzard, Iowa Hawkeye games, Leave It To Beaver, High Mountain Rangers, and The Waltons.
Books:
W atership Down is still my fave book after all these years. Staggerford is awesome, too. LOTR. Anything by RA Salvatore, Peter David, Harlan Ellison, Phillip K. Dick, Candace Bushnell, Thich Nhat Hanh, Tom Clancy, Stephen King, Janet Evanovich, Agatha Christie, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I like cookbooks and photo collections, too.
Heroes:
T hich Nhat Hanh, Bill "Slick Willy" Clinton, Napoleon Bonaparte, William Wallace, Oprah (annoying but she does alot of good in the world, sort of like Bono), and I hate to admit it but my mom. She raised me all by herself and I think I turned out pretty good. Still, her cooking sucks.
