About Me

A somewhat enigmatic sinister soul, brimming with pure, seething, unadulterated evil.Well...kind of.I spend the majority of my time writing, which has proved to be the only dependable thing(besides heavy metal and copious amounts of booze)in my life, which has prevented me from turning completely stark raving mad over the years. I write music reviews for local magazines and online webzines, as well as some fiction and sick little poems with plenty of blood and guts thrown in.Paradise Lost - Forever After (2005)

Which Tarot Card Are You?
You are the Moon card. Entering the Moon we enter the intuitive and psychic realms. This is the stuff dreams are made on. And like dreams the imagery we find here may inspire us or torment us. Understanding the moon requires looking within. Our own bodily rhythms are echoed in this luminary that circles the earth every month and reflects the sun in its progress. Listening to those rhythms may produce visions and lead you towards insight. The Moon is a force that has legends attached to it. It carries with it both romance and insanity. Moonlight reveals itself as an illusion and it is only those willing to work with the force of dreams that are able to withstand this reflective light. My Interests

Gothic/death/thrash metal, horror films and fiction, particularly vampire-related, cats, the supernatural, sketching, the Victorian era and the concept of immortality.

I'd like to meet:

Type O Negative's frontman and bassist, Peter Steele. Poppy Z. Brite, the author of the deliciously graphic, yet hauntingly beautiful "Lost Souls" and "Exquisite Corpse" - never has the spirit of vampirism been so perfectly captured. Clive Barker and Stephen King (particularly to discuss his first novel, "Carrie")...And of course anyone charitable enough to help relieve my boredom with idle chit-chat.

Music:

Metal, particularly Type O Negative, The 69 Eyes, Deathstars, Lacuna Coil, Nightwish, In Flames, Kataklysm, Devildriver, Chimaira, Mnemic, Children of Bodom, Soilwork, Obituary...etc.

Movies:

The Crow, Hellraiser, Interview with the Vampire, Sleepy Hollow, Edward Scissorhands, the "Saw" trilogy and Freddy Got Fingered.

Television:

Little Britain, The League of Gentlemen, South Park and Family Guy.

Books:

"Lost Souls" - Poppy Z. Brite, "Carrie" and "Pet Sematary" - Stephen King, any novel by Anne Rice, Clive Barker's "Books of Blood", "Brighton Rock" - Graham Greene, Charles Baudelaire's "The Flowers of Evil", Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein"...the list goes on.

Heroes:

LIVING: Peter Steele, Trent Reznor, Burton C. Bell, Ozzy, Johnny Depp, Tim Burton, Jeremy Clarkson (Our Supreme Lord of Sarcasm) Tom Green and the Jackass crew.(UN)DEAD: Countess Bathory, William Blake, Lord Byron, Brandon Lee and Bill Hicks....and whoever was responsible for inventing eyeliner.
