THE SECRET BEHIND THE SECRET THE AWAKINGThis reggae adventure may seem like the same old cliché….This is about a man in harmony with machine, in my navigations you will come to observe that I have brought to you the prodigy son to your doorstep.It all starts in that paradise Island of Jamaica , were Mark Anthony Ainsworth was born inMay 1967, Kingston Waltham Park Road.11 Rose end Ave, Washington Gardens Kingston 20, is were clear evolution begins.Uncle Chaka encouraged his nephew to follow in his foot steps, Chaka himself was a be known musician.In the mid 80'sMark at first started out as a DJ, aka Markie Ranking, exploding venomous lyrics along side Lecturer, Captain Barky, Professor Knots and Major Courage.belated uncle Shaka then recongised Mark's enthusiasm and invested in sound equipment, first Track Star Sound System, then Track Star Studio's.Mark single handily over saw every aspect of the business, becoming a great success as a DJ, Selector, Mixer, Sound engineer, Songwriter , Producer and instrumentalist.Mark's skill and talent started to become apparent, his touch technically refined, attracting nowadays DJ's of our era. Like Bounty Hunter aka Bounty Killer, Tommy Troubles, Pan Head, Duck man, Pinchers, Steve Machete, Boom, Dynamite, General 'B', Nitty Kutchie, Wayne Smith, Buju Banton, Shabba, Tony Rebel, Baby Wayne' Vegas, Selvin Wonder and Wayne Fire.Even the great and legendary Lee Scratch Perry Situated in Washington Gardens visited and encouraged the Track Star Studio Engineer.Mark steadfastly became very popular in the music fields hanging around friends like Deano, Jimmy Cliff's son, teaming up with Noel Park's, son of Lloyd Park's from 'We The People Band'. Mark and Noel played instruments together, from studio to studio for a period of time.Noel's father, Lloyd gave more exposure to Mark, by giving him outdoor P.A work, as in the flamboyant 'Reggae Sun splash' and 'Sting' working with artist such as:Dennis Brown, Freddie McGregor, John Holt, Mighty Diamonds and Ken Booth.Nevertheless Mark also gave extra spare time to leading producers like Earl from Aquarius Records with Charmaine label, Devon 'D', from 'Peoples Records' and Bunny Diamonds of Bad Gong label.Coming into the 90's Mark travelled extensively, he influenced the music industry with his own brand of producing, Around this time Mikey Steer and Mark were creeping away with the creation of 'M&M Top Secret' label.Mikey and Mark with no exposure to the public, kept most of their work a Secret.A home made studio in his living quarters to remain close to the music he loves, experimenting endlessly.Although Marks first debut single 'Make It With You' by Junior Biggs sold many copies, his catalogue of music is phenomenally exciting.One of Mark's former students 'Tee Thomas' teamed up with him to create the' Jerry Springer' riddim, featuring artist like; Future Trouble, Delly Rank, Terror Fabulous, Baby Wayne, Singing melody, vybz kartel,Galaxy p, capleton and Many more.For the past ten years Mark has been around the globe also in and out of the U.K.Collaborating with Barrington Studio (Arches in Brixton) and then located to his present premises, on top of Supertone Records (Brixton). 'Where M&M Top Secret' has continued to flourish, with its unmistakeable presents that the studio brings attracts artis Globally.Mark attended a course at Westminster college and passed his Diploma with distinctions in Sound Engineering, this only added to Mark's Portfolio along with his life long experience.Back in Portmore city of St Catherine, Mark is laying the finishing touches to a brand new 24 Track analog plus a Digital Recording Studio. MUSIC CYBORGNevertheless what the future secretly for-tells for 'M&M Top Secret' is their insight of hard workman ship, endeavour and resolve, that will undoubtedly lead the way.When we think of what is capable here, it is exhilarating!. 'M&M Top Secret' send out tingling feelings of discovery, they're always on the verge of something new.One final point is that we have an Engineer, who has grown all his life with artists. This has helped with the rappour Artist and Engineer have, grow stronger, which he then interpret ate into the armoury of machines.
