About Me

I'm 20 years old. I love MUSIC, my favorite instrument to play is the guitar. I love being with my fam bam. The number1 person in my life is GOD!!! I'm a good man! ************************************************************ ************************************************************ ************************************************************ ******************************************************** Michael B Hart Jr. was born Jan 29.1987 in Sacramento California, Michael began to develop the love for music at a very young age. At the age of 2 Michael was fascinated with the sound of the guitar and started to identify it as a “Holy Ghost” whenever he was in church and someone started to play a guitar he would began to reel and rock to the beat of the music.Michael began to take drum lessons at the age of 8 by the time he was 9 he realized that drums was not the instrument for him, and began taking a real interest in the guitar and began lessons in the 7th grade. He was fascinated by the captivating harmonies and melodies produced by this six string instrument.Growing up in church and coming from a musical family background, at a very early age he was introduced to the quartet sounds of music and harmonies that captured his soul. His grandfather & uncles gospel quartet group The Morris Brother’s Plus 1 has played an intrical part in Michaels love for music. It was destined for him to be a musician he inherited the musical gene. Michael’s musical inspirations start with his uncle Jimmy who gave him his first guitar when Michael was in the forth grade.Uncle Jimmy began working with him and teaching him finger exercises; pocket, timing and grooves that comes from years of experience and lots of practice. Uncle Jimmy made sure that Michael understood that practice and more practice was the main ingredient of becoming a guitar player. He inspired him to stay focused and that practice was hard work and determination.Uncle Jimmy is an outstanding musician and has played both bass and lead guitar for more than 30 years. He continues to coach, mentor and inspire Michael in his musical journey.Michael began listening to old school music that featured guitar parts on their records like James Brown and other musical icons. Michael would listen to music over and over again and practice it on the guitar until he mastered the sound. When Michael was 15 years old he began taking his guitar to choir rehearsal and picking out sounds along with the choir musicians under the direction of Joe Archie. Joe Archie would encourage Michael to bring his guitar every week to practice and strum along on his strings. Now Michael is an exceptional lead guitar player for his church choir and was blessed with that opportunity by his uncle and Pastor Alonzo G. Morris. Uncle Lonzo as Michael refers to him has afforded him with various musical, financial, and spiritual guidance. He too continues to support, direct and encourage Michael. After Michael started to learn how to play the guitar he wanted to be able to record it, that’s when Joe “J-PRODIGAL” Archie and Derek “D.O.A.” Allen took him under their wings teaching him the art of production, what producing was, and what it meant to be a music producer. Michael’s sophomore year at Florin High school Joe Archie took him to the Guitar Center to buy his first set of home studio recording equipment and gave Michael his first computer. Now at the age of 20 Michael better known as “BIG MIKE” has worked with and or played for Tramaine Hawkins, Eugene Cole of Eugene Cole and Persuaded, Derek “D.O.A.” Allen, Joe “J-Prodigal” Archie, Pastor Alonzo G. Morris and the Paradise Baptist church Choir, Kevin Archie, Carl Wheeler, Eric “Pikfunk” Smith, Marcus Phillips, Doey Rock, Eric Griggs of the Under Doggs, Daruis McQuary, and the Sacramento Metropolitan Choir. Mikes influences are John “Jubu” Smith, Charlie “GUITAR” Bereal, Warryn Campbell, Just Blaze, Brian Michael Cox, Timberland, Dr.Dre, Raphael Sadiq, Ricky Minor, Robert Bacon, Paul Jackson, James Brown, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Ernie Isley and many more.Michael does recognizes that his talent is a gift from god and will continue to keep god as the head of his life and not take blessings for granted promising to remain humble and give god the glory for his success! music layout @ HOT FreeLayouts.com http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ynk6W3qM9-w&eurl=http%3A% 2F%2Fprofile%2Emyspace%2Ecom%2Findex%2Ecfm%3Ffuseaction%3Dus er%2Eviewprofile%26friendid%3D70319753
