Nestled deep within the hearts of every young girl there resides a dream... A
dream that one day she would command the affection and attention of all whom
she encounters. For one young girl out of Northern California, this simple
fantasy of hers is more than just a dream; it's her destiny. Born to be a
star Staci Shepard even in her adolescence displayed an insatiable hunger for
the stage. Fueled by her passion to see her destiny realized she sing in
everything from school choirs to wedding receptions, even lending her vocal
gift to ease mourners at funerals, she would sing at any venue with every
opportunity she was afforded. Staci diversified her package remarkably by
joining a local group still at a young age called the Electric 7. They went
on tour with the Soul Train Dancers and performed regularly. Romanced by her
presence on stage, Staci then realized that no other profession could match
the experience of entertaining.
Never one to continue dancing to another's beat for too long, Staci
peacefully severed ties with her dancing team in order to resume the
relentless pursuit of her true passion in singing. At the tender age of
sixteen Staci leaped into the industry by recording her very first demo. It
was then she knew that there was no turning back for her anymore. Since that
moment she has been diligently working in the studio singing on demos for
several known writers. Staci's hunger and drive for success led her to unite
with a young well known song writer and producer Adrien Steele. Their
chemistry was both stimulating and soothing as Steele composed sensual tunes
and Staci brought them to life with a sound that can only be described as
celestial. They gained the respect of many in Cali's music scene while
acquiring the necessary experiences they would need to take them both to the
next level. Although they managed to generate a stellar album "Heavy on My
Mind" which saw a few of its songs regularly spent on the radio, the team
split in the best interest of both. Now Staci has her own story to tell
about her experiences. Staci now ready to take on the challenges of doing it
on her own decided to start her own production company entitled "Lights
Kamera Actshun", where she is releasing her own album called "Love Life and
Lessons. In this album she talks about going through her share of fire on
her road to stardom. She has grown quite a bit and wants to share her
experiences in hopes that it could help many in their times struggles.
Rolling with the model "Nothing in life worth having comes easy" she has
managed to stay focused and on all of her tracks she delivers heart felt
music from her soul, laced with dynamic beats produced by several local
Northern Cali. Producers.
Her album love life and lessons is a collection of songs that are self
explanatory. She has a sound of her own and when heard she hopes everyone can
walk away with a triumphant story or two to build from.
Staci's inspirations include all of the Clark sisters, Jmoss, KeKe Sheard,
India Irie, Musiq, Beyonce, Tweet and even Missy Elliot.
Staci has put all that she has into her music and this album promises a
reflection of dedication and loyalty to her life long pursuit of a manifested
Dream...
