About Me

I'm a Los Angeles based published freelance photographer who specializeing in a wide variety of subject matter. From music and entertainment, to travel and landscape, to action and sports, to portraits and candid, as well as shooting tasteful and artistic boudoir. On a regular basis I photograph and write (columnist writing CD & performance) reviews for All Access Magazine and Music Connection. All publishing appears in print and online - see All Access Magazine website - www.allaccessmagazine.com - for my latest CD review installment - "Search for the Hidden Gem".In addition to MC and AAM, my images have been published by Photographer's Forum Magazine, Strutter Magazine, the San Gabriel Press, Pasadena Sun, Rock City News, and the state of Alaska's official tourism website - www.travelalaska.com, along with being used by numerous bands on MySpace. Images are also being used for the soon to be released theatrical motion picture "Sin-Jin Smyth".Prints of my work can be purchased from my photography website - www.mikecavanaughphotography.smugmug.com - or if you are local in Los Angeles I can handle the printing and delivery of prints personally.My art reflects my passion to walk many paths in my pursuit to experience all this life has to offer.

Heroes:

Anyone who puts their life on the line for their passion (i.e. mountaineers and adventurers).
