The GGB

The GGB (The Greg Gomes Band) is Greg Gomes on Vocals and Guitar / Alan Yee on Drums / & Lee Burkhart on Bass and Backing Vocals. Greg is originally from New Jersey with time spent in Arizona and L.A. collectively. He began playing guitar at 13, inspired by his favorite bands growing up. His first band played a few dorm festivals and house parties while he attended college. He formed his first original band showcasing his own music after he finished school. He says he's never had more fun than he is having this time around. It shows on the new "Holy Shit EP" and especially when they play live. Greg's lyrics and music sit right next to you and make you smile and identify. A unique story teller - Greg sometimes sings what your subconcscious mind is thinking but doesn't say. On the drums is Alan Yee. Alan has worked with more famous bands than anyone you know. He grew up in the heart of Hollywood and then ran the famous Madam Wong's Night Club in West L.A. - look it up. However, Alan's real passion is behind the drums. If you want to see what pure joy looks like - come watch him play. On the bass is Lee Burkhart. Lee is also a southern California native. He attended USC on a music scholarship then received his masters from Juilliard in music. Lee could probably tell you what key your refrigerator is humming in. Lee's bass lines and vocal harmonies complement Greg's music all day long. The GGB's second show had them performing for a crowd of over 150 people. They'll keep your attention for sure.
