About Me

In 1996 I gave my life to Christ and God change my name to Prafasi. Since then I have been a street evangelist, Bible study and intercessory prayer leader as well as ministering in prisons, to youth, and to the homeless. I have been in gospel hip hop since 1996 doing shows with a group I help formed called "Prophetic Circle". We went different ways in 2002 but in 2007 we have reformed. Between then I have been solo doing open mics and local shows.
Please keep me and this ministry in prayer.

Influences:
Musically I have been influence by God and thank Him for choosing me to be His servant. I was introduced to hip hop through my radio am 1060 K.U.K.Q. "the rhythm of the valley" circa 1978 - 1983? B.E.T. had some influence as well as Yo! M T.V. Raps. I'm an A.Z. dwella and we have a place called Circles Records and Tapes, although I think its changed to include c.d's. It was there I had bought all my jams, but after I gave my life to Christ, I decided to only listen to Holy Hip Hop. So S.S. Mob, T-bone, C.M.Cs, Gospel Gangstaz, D.J. Dove, Nuwine, Lil Raskull, Bruthaz G.R.I.M.M. and Grits was my first taste of "Holy Hip Hop".My A.Z. and U.A.U. brethren were a breath of fresh air and I thank God for allowing me to work with some awesomely talented people of God. Now i'm in Oregon working with Destiny Lab, Fenix Reborn, DJ Doc Fader and DJ Jam a.k.a. "B Boy Answer".I am currently bumpin Sup the Chemist, Theory Hazit, Cross Movement, Mars Ill, Urban D., Mark J., Tunnel Rats and that down south crunk for Christ music, K-drama, Pettidee and many, many others. Fred Hammond is what I play when I what to some soul and inspiration and Third day when I what to worship and P.O.D. when I need to let my hair down and get crazy in the Lord!
