Bob has a strong record of supporting Venezuela, Cuba and supporting the campaigns for human rights and justice for trade unionists and others in Colombia - the most dangerous place in the world to be a trade unionist. Anyone who has seen Bob on the television or speaking on public platform at events including the Glastonbury Festival, the Durham Miners Gala and the Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival will know that we can expect an inspiring, humorous and uncompromising speech from Bob, who is coming all the way from London especially for Moncada Rocks 2008...MONCADA ROCKS 2008 takes place on SATURDAY 7 JUNE at BRUDENELL SOCIAL CLUB, Hyde Park, LEEDS and is the fourth annual all-dayer benefit gig for Cuba. Moncada Rocks exists for two reasons: to raise money and to raise awareness. Moncada Rocks 2008 is raising money for the "Justice for Colombia" project supporting female political prisoners in Colombia by providing humanitarian aid.
