Hello... Darryl played drums in Medway-based, vaudeville-tinted popsters Alvin Purple but thought it may be more fun to have a go at writing songs. So he tried learning how to play guitar and has been trying ever since... as well as other people's patience in the process. With a love for discovering new chords and a dogged determination to create beautifully intricate melodies, Darryl applies his charmingly adequate vocal range (he was thrown out of the school choir) to a series of self-penned, self-recorded ditties.
