I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

BUILTCOWBOY....Definition: It's what you get when you cross a country/farm boy with a bodybuilder. I love my cowboy boots and hat just as much as I love my athletic shoes and lifting gloves. I eat, breathe, and sleep bodybuilding, fitness, and nutrition. I was born and raised a farm boy, so hard work is nothing new for me. Working out has become something that I absolutely love and look forward to. I only have a simple certification in personal training and CPR. I am hopefully soon going to return to school to acquire my associates degree in exercise science and a degree in nutrition. I want to learn as much as I can about fitness, bodybuilding, and nutrition. I feel true joy from helping someone learn how to lift and eat properly. It's even better when they come back to you and show you what they have accomplished and to see them beaming with happiness from it. As you can see, the people that I send friend requests to, all have something to do with personal training, fitness, and bodybuilding. I don't just pick people randomly. I actually take time and read a bit and look around their profile. I always find myself in aw of what I see people accomplishing. It is totally awesome. I like taking a look at everyone right before I head to the gym. To see photos of Jay, Ronnie, Chris, Monica, and all of those within my friend list, gets me totally pumped and ready to hit the weights. Thank you for taking the time to read this and if we are friends, thank you for that also. Would love to hear from anyone and everyone. Have a happy, healthy, and wonderful day.

My Interests

I love bodybuilding and fitness. I also love to sing. Being able to entertain a group of people is a total adrenaline rush. NASCAR!!!! I am still a huge Dale Earnhardt fan. I am also a Kevin Harvick, Tony Stewart, and Jeff Burton fan.

I'd like to meet:

Jay Cutler, Dexter Jackson, Ronnie Coleman, Triple H, Chris Aceto, Arnold Schwarzeneggar, and Monica Brant Peckham, just to name a few and everyone in my list.

Music:

On any given day, it really depends on my mood. For the most part, it's country. Jason Aldean, Jake Owen, and Dierks Bentley are couple of my favorite male artists. Martina McBride and Carrie Underwood for female artists. When I am in a mode to train on my own, lookout! cuz I'm breakin out the Nickelback, Buckcherry, Limp Bizkit, Metallica, and Drowning Pool, just to name a few.

Movies:

Varsity Blues, Gone In 60 Seconds, The Fast and The Furious, Days Of Thunder, Driven, Dale, and 3. I like mostly action movies. There are a few tear jerkers that I have enjoyed. I hate to say it, but I have had a few women sucker me into watchin a chic flic. I guess as long as I haven't seen it, I'll watch it at least once. I can't stand stupid humor and I don't do horror films.

Television:

I try to catch as many of the Nextel Cup races that I can. I miss watching my wrestling. I still try to follow Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and Batista. When I do have time to sit down and get lost in the tv, any of the CSI or Law and Order shows will do.

Books:

Not really into books unless it has something to do with fitness or nutrition. I enjoy reading my Muscle & Fitness and Peterson's 4x4 and Offroad magazines.

Heroes:

What is a hero? There are alot of people that I look up to and admire for what they have accomplished. When I see that people have heros, the person(s) they list usually impacted their life in some great way. So I guess with that, I would have to say my hero is my daughter. Whenever I fall in a rut or have a not so good day, she has a magical gift or being able to pull me out or pick me up. I love you Ashley.

My Blog

NPC North Star

The NPC North Star was the very first show that I have attended and what an event it was.  What prompt me to check out what a show was all about, is that when training, I have been asked countles...
