Isn't it hard to find unique people in this world we live in today?!? Doesn't seem so here with all the talent & love that I've seen; but we're ultimately just 'a drop in the bucket' overall. I am here to meet people who want to better the world through ART. My mission is to get some powerful and special people together to share, create, learn and progress forward as creative beings. Art to me is any form of creative expression: from painting, to music/acting/dancing, to modeling, photography, writing, healing & philosophizing, etc.. Empaths, and those who love the arts, are included as they are a vital cataylst in this vision.
ABOUT ME: (please take the time out to read this so you can get to know me a little ~ thanks)...
Well, as for me, my name is Michael, aka MÄNOS MÄGICAS (or - MÄGÃŒK HÄNÃZ). One of the reasons why I am called this is because I’ve studied Alternative Medicine and Certified in Therapeutic Massage, Shiatsu, Reiki and other forms of Holisitics. Recently also delving into Energy Transference, Magnetics, Empathic Healing and Quantum Physics. There are a lot of people out there who claim they are healers, but they hide behind a lot of different veils and are not true of spirit or self. I have been essentially "healing" in so many ways my whole life. Even after all the years of schooling and learning under gifted talents, I almost refuse to charge for something my heart does naturally. Perhaps I can find a balance so that I can "do what I love" and still survive in our world (money-wise). I guess my dream is to write a book about healing one day (from my perspective). Now I only apply the healing to a select few, as with age comes wisdom (and less burn-out)...I end this section with the mystery behind my nickname: MAGIK HANDZ. I will blog this soon, as there are interesting stories behind the name - and no - I am not a magician - LOL.
JOB & HOBBIES:
My current everyday job is very demanding (and is completely not related to my creative side). I make a "great living", but at times there's 'something missing' where I am not really "living" - so having those creative outlets and sharing with others are very important to me.
THE WRITER IN ME:
I possess a passion for writing short stories, songs and poetry. Currently, I am assisting a friend/writer in Los Angelos on a Movie/TV Script. His vision is now our project together. This is a REMARKABLE opportunity that just presented itself. I will disclose later what this project is, and as it comes to fruition, I will share the joy and experiences with my friends. For now, it's very confidential due to copyrights, etc.. I have POEMS poted under my current blogs on this page. I am creating another website titled "Poetic Renaissance". Here I will network with writers & filmakers to share some (not all) of my deepest poems and writing ambitions via Blogs. This may be my future "profession" so I will concentrate on this the most and the rest of my 'hobbies or talents' take a back seat! Currently, I've posted some poems to "test the waters" since I now trust the majority of my friends here...lol...
THE MUSICIAN IN ME:
I enjoy anything Flamenco - OLÉ! There are many "Flamencologists" out there in this world. Some born of different colors, races and creeds. Flamenco is not only an art, but a way of life. When I ponder what I was in my "past life" I come up with three (3) things. One is a Medieval Knight, the other is Healer, and the final is Gyspy. I love the moon, the stars, guitar, strong independence, individuality and NOT LEAST the heartfelt Baila, Canta y Compás. In any case, I play an ALHAMBRA Flamenco Guitar. I pick it up and create when I need inspiration in my life. Growing up in so many different places and adoring so many specific cultures, I have many influences. One day I want to create a "musical fusion" of Spanish Flamenco/Middle-Eastern/East Indian guitar riffs, blended with hip-hop and other world beats - with my poetry sung in the background. A "studio musician" atmosphere laying down tracks at home. I mostly work with Sonar Software, professional grade microphone, keyboards, samplers and monitor speakers.
THE PHOTOGRAPHER IN ME:
I'm getting better with my photography. I have a few weddings and small projects under my belt. I owe much of my knowledge base to my best friend Kevin Hatton. His showing me around the camera has enabled my creativity to shine through in my work! I've always wanted to do that - and know living that dream and possibility (plus making some additional cash with it).
BACKGROUND & BELIEFS:
My background is French (from the southern Langue D'oc region - where the Knights of the Templars and the 3 Musketeers once roamed). I am also part Spanish. I speak fluent French, a little Spanish, American Sign Language and various phrases in many other languages (Greek, Italian, Polish, Cantonese). Born & raised in the streets of New York City - but currently living in Arizona. My favorite place in AZ of course is SEDONA. If you haven't been there, you really need to experience this "magical" place. It is one of the most SPIRITUAL & ENERGY-FILLED places on this planet! I enjoy Romantacism & Myctism. I have a great sense of humor and like those who do. Impersonations are my specialty - I LOVE TO LAUGH - to joke around and make others smile. I cherish a good glass of wine and deep conversation with genuine friends/people. One of my biggest pet-peeves is those who concentrate on envy and negativity in their life. Life is too short to constantly attack, demean and/or talk badly (gossip) about other people. When backed in a corner I am a warrior; otherwise, I am peace-loving. I also like the study of different cultures, foods and music. Consequently, although I have many visitors to my site, I am very selective as to whom I chose and accept on my friend's list. I am very Spiritual as opposed to Religious. I catch a lot of heat for this as a Catholic, but I am into the study of ALL religions, and open-mindedly experience all belief systems. I have never been a 'follower' in anything the general populous does - so 'organized religion' is really not for me. A higher power lives in all people. There is no "better way" or "better God" - there is no shape, size, depiction, doctrine or document which really differentiates us from each other. Sure, there is such a structure now built through time, but if we didn't categorize this through the ages, we would find out that we are basically all - ONE. I believe that the day we realize this, is the day we will finally find true peace...I would respectfully like to break down these barriers which hold us back so much...

Very diverse range of tastes....From Hip Hop to Metal, from Flamenco to Classical...I'm all over the board!!!

However, here is the 1st 20 minutes of "The Secret". Of course, it's best to watch the entire interpretation of the film. Many pundits and skeptics will down the film and its theories, but how can one really down the messages it delivers? It only makes sense, but some just cannot "get" what this is delivering as they refuse to tap into this part of their mind:
