I love helping people, I have taken it up as a job now! I have worked for several different charities across Birmingham for the past 5 years. From working with people who have learning disabilities, to homeless people and also sufferers of strokes, I currently work in an organistion that deals with environmental issues, e.g we encourage re-cycling. I started my working life by doing 9-5 jobs as a data inputter but I needed more to keep me interested. Since working for charities my whole outlook on life has changed, you just realise how lucky you are and also when I go through a bad period in life (which we all do)I think 'well it could be worse' Appreciate life. I used to do voluntary charity work but unfortunatley i dont have as much time on my hands anymore, although I still do some, but not as much, I would love to join in if anyone has an upcoming charity event, please let me know. Now my time is taken up by helping with community work (I do my bit for local issues, theres no point in waiting for the next person to do it, i believe if you have a voice, USE IT!). I also love children, so I babysitt (I have 10 nieces and nephews!). My favourite sport is Cricket. I love eating out, going cinema, shopping, travelling and meeting new people. I have been an avon representative for 10 years and love it, would like to become a beautician one day. I also help with my sisters jewellery business at times. I used to go gym to exercise but recently I have started to do 40 minutes walking a day so that counts towards my fitness. I also love dancing (which is another good way to keep fit), I love cooking and am surprisingly good at it! I've loved American wrestling (the old stuff) since I was 12. I also write poetry, when Im really in the mood for it. I collect handbags and un-usual tea pots! Call me weird but I think im unique.
I am here for making more friends, so if you read my profile and would like me to be your friend after it, then feel free to contact me, I stay in touch with all my contacts.Thats a promise.I wouldnt mind meeting afew leaders of certain countries just to ask them 'how do you sleep at night?'.P.S Im not on here for a date, so please to all those who are so narrow minded that they think just because ive stated myself as being single does not mean im looking. Theres plenty of women on myspace who are here for that sort of thing so please contact them not me.
I like a wide range of music which consists of english, asian and arabic music. My favourites are Madonna,Coldplay, Snow Patrol,Michael Jackson, Corrs,Keane,Robbie Williams,Natasha Bedingfield, Belinda Carlisle, Anastacia,Kelly Clarkeson,Pink,Avril Lavigne, Killers and Kylie Minogue. Tina Turner was absolutley fab, I miss her. I loved the 80's music and enjoy all Abba tracks. Dance music is good to.
Love thrillers, horrors and comedies (strange combination!). I love watching scary movies when Im alone at home, in the dark, nothing beats that thrill! Before you wonder I do go cinema but it annoys me when people start screaming in the cinema, when something scares them, as i dont get scared easily. My most prized possession is my collection of wrestling videos/dvds. Love watching them.
I watch alot of tv, i watch eastenders and coronation street on a regular basis,I also used to watch Bad girls and Hotel Babylon,i very much enjoy american dramas, like, Lost,Desparate Housewives,Ugly Betty,Prison Break,Heroes,Brothers and Sisters, 24 and OC. Used to watch X-files and classics like Dynasty,Dallas,A.team,nightrider. My absolute favourite was comedy series 'Frasier' I absolutley adored the show and their intellectual humour. It is one of the first comedies that had me in stitches.
Enjoy horror books and autobiographies. I also enjoy travel books and have built a collection. I have a massive collection of wrestling magazines.
Russell Brand. He's a funny guy and humour is a healing cure. We are supposed to see our leaders as heroes but i see them as the villains(or have i been watching too much prison break!?) Unfortunatley the females I admired and found inspiring have both passed away, Princess Diana and the lovely late Miss Elizabeth (from wrestling), they were both truly amazing women. I am also a big fan of former Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit, the best dancer ever in my opinion.
