I love books and writing, music, and my animals, thrift stores and flea markets, and long rides in the country. I have been known to go through curbside discards in search of treasure, and have found some amazing things.

All Geezer rock, since I am an authentic card-carrying Geezer.Bob Dylan is my hero, since his music seems to have been the background music to my life. He would'nt like the title "Hero". Goodfellas, even though it's a violent film, it's a masterpiece. Moonstruck,anything with Bette Davis and Joan Crawford. Muriel's wedding,I love Asian films. (NOT martial arts or Anime.)I love old Frank Capra films ,old and new Gangster films, Spinal Tap, A Mighty Wind,most fantasy,old Disney,Most films made in 1939. For some reason, most major films made that particular year were wonderful. Too many more to mention
Television:
The Sopranos, Seinfeld, Judge Judy, (She's like an angry Muppet show for adults.)Any slice of life documentory. Monk is an all time favorite. I'm trying to wean myself from the tube, but it's such an ingrained habit..My new favorite is "Ugly Betty."
Books:
Stephen King before he became one of his own characters, Pearl Buck, Amy Tan,and almost anything with an Asian theme.Fanny Flagg, Erma Bombeck,Studies of other cultures, books about strong women who take no crap. The "Little Prince " is a touching book. First and foremost, The Bible is the most important, most beautiful book ever placed in our hands
Heroes:
