Originally a 3-piece outfit, the plot formed in early 2004 when JohnFiction & Steve Gashen had a fateful encounter with Morris county legend The Chief. The 3 set forth in order to create a tangible impression of their artistic vision. Late in 2004, the plot recruited Mullaconda, guitarist extraordinaire, to further develop the avenue for that vision. Over the course of 2005, the plot toiled to prepare its audience with soaring melodies and bone crushing rhythms in the form of pure sonic excess...Anointing a new sound from the atmosphere, the plot amassed a collection of undeniable songs that are sure to turn heads and leave the listener agreeing: “This is what I’ve been waiting for!†The plot wasted no time sharing the blinding insight of primary songwriter JohnFiction in a dizzy array of live performances carrying the plot and it’s faithful to venue after venue, including: CBGB’s, The Continental, Rare, The Bitter End, The PussyCat Lounge, The Lucky Cat, and Arlene’s Grocery in NYC, as well as Jersey shows at Double D’s, opening for national act, Ra, Connections, Dingbatz, Championships, The Axis Lounge, The Blue Room, The Underpass, Rusty Nail, The Bloomfield Ave. Café & The Rail. The plot also became internationally acclaimed with a highlight performance in Montreal, Canada at the Hard Rock Café in October. (Yes, whatever you’ve heard about Montreal – it’s ALL true)2006 arrived to warmly welcome his eminence, Mondi as the plot’s front man, bringing the plot full circle and enabling the counterpoint to streamline the plot into a terribly vicious machine. But unfortunately, 2007 brought tragedy to the plot as Gashen and Mullaconda were viciously murdered in an international military abduction attempt. Their souls will never rest.As time passed, the plot rekindled from the ashes and reclaimed destiny's call. The unhonorable Tommy Bones joined the plot's thickness and will be hitting the stage in the plot's R.I.P. tour kicking off at Dingbatz in Clifton in January 2008...
