WARRIORS 4 THE LORD started when Marlys Hardesty met some members of a band called "Cowboys 4 Christ" at a youth conference in Georgia. Marlys quickly influenced these cowboys to join her on her crusade of His holy name and started the band "SOLDIERS 4 J.C" Marlys had already written a whole lot of songs during her repenting period after she turned 30 and quickly learned that everything in the world was connected the great and holy Jesus. The band played at the annual Christian Coitus Festival in the fall of 1996 where Hardesty was saved. She also met Vickie Sawyer at that very festival, Marlys Hardesty then went on to record with Vickie Sawyer from the band "Labia Street" and decided to start up the full she-bang of WARRIORS 4 THE LORD. The rest is HIStory.
