About Me

DJ / Promoter / A&R
Refo Recordings
As A&R for Glasgow independant electronic label Refo Recordings I am always on the look out for music to release, get in touch and I'll have a listen to see if it cuts the cheese. Some artists who have released on Refo include Milton Jackson , Droido and Mash . Here are the links for the Label Website and the Myspace Profile .
Le Soiree
Le Soiree is an infrequent party held in the north east Scotland granite city, Aberdeen. There is no music policy at the moment or a venue or no idea when the next one will be, but we do have myself and Giles Walker on hand to lay down the beats. I will say though that the last two outings have been great nights and there will definitely be some more carnage in the near future. If your wondering what exactly Soiree is like you can stream the live recordings from the player here or download by going to the podcast home page here .
Faux Pas
Faux Pas had a short stint at the Carnival Arts Centre in glasgow and is currently on a break and looking for a new venue. We had successful nights with great NYE parties over the last two years. Faux Pas included myself and Chris Marr and had guests such as Engine and Deportivo Street Team . We would have liked more night to take it further but got stung by a break in and flood which meant we couldn't afford to continue.
Faux Pas is pretty much about playing our own style and our personal choices of the moment. I have also podcasted some live recordings from one of the nights which will give you an idea of what kind of night we are all about, you can listen to two mixes and a live set from Deportivo Street Team below and download from here .
Weird Science
This is a little project I'm working on which basically showcases the different stuff I like musically and tagged it as weird science for no real reason, but now it gives me a chance to show some good photos too. And it's a bit like me, and my different music tastes. Maybe I'll take it further as a concept but for now you can listen and download the same as the two podcasts above. Here is the link for the podcast.
