The PRI Group was formed in the beginning of 2007. Daniel Coles, founder, had been interested and studying the paranormal for years. Patrick Heffernan, Co-founder, had been involved with paranormal investigations in the past. Coles and Heffernan formed a group of paranormal enthusiast and skeptics to seek out ghost or proof of their existence. It was quickly realized that there were thousands of paranormal research groups out there who had been around for years gaining knowledge and experience. We were under equip, and very inexperienced. It was apparent that there are two types of groups out there. Those who want nothing to do with a community and are self seeking glory hounds not concerned with the fields image, and those who were interested in the advancement of the paranormal community, field, and image as a whole; who were willing and happy to share some knowledge with others. The direction The PRI Group wanted to go was clear. Many of our groups members, including founders Coles and Heffernan, are law enforcement officers employed in Georgia as sheriff deputies. Others are from the Computer and education field. Most of us, through our jobs, have seen the horrors of man so ghost don't scare us. We promise to always be professional and keep the integrity of the paranormal field in sight. We also promise to help isolate those individuals who tarnish or shed a dark shadow on the field and run them out. We are not fad followers. We are not trying to be the show on TV. We thank TAPS for showing us the way, and we are true fans of the show Ghost Hunters, but do this because in drives us and calls to us. As you can see by our slide show, we believe in having fun and rolling with humor. When on an investigation, we are serious and determined. As the years go on, we hope to earn your respect and friendship. We can't wait to meet you all. By the end of the 2007 summer, we hope to be blessed enough to operational.
