About Me

Oh god....there is so much to tell but so little time. I am a: college graduate, pro-feminist, corporate goth, friend, recovering addict, part time saint and full time smart ass. I enjoy most of what life has to offer and grow from whats left. I have a degree from Miami University majoring in Marketing and a minor in decision science as well as a degree from The Culinary Institute of America. Yep, I'm kinda a geek with a talent for talking and cooking. I love to read and play .. while enjoying the sun and working out. I am a former chef. I have a passion for cooking that is spiritual in nature and cannot be described in words. If you love food and are willing to be cooked for you may just win my heart. I have experienced the world and seen it through others eyes. I have lived on both sides of life....the beautiful and the profane. The exploration into both sides of life and self is exciting and it has taught me a thing or two about limits and boundaries (and which ones can be pushed). BTW --One is too many and a thousand is never enough. I am many things that takes time to find out but the easiest way to describe me is this : This is what a Michael looks like.

Music:

Lots of variety here: classical, Opera, Musicals, Goth, EBM, Industrial, 80's, Jazz, Blues. There are so many bands that I enjoy, so here is a sample: The Cure, Dead Can Dance, SBS, Front Line Assembly, VNV Nation, Wumpscut, The Damned, The Misfits, Black Tape for a Blue Girl, Revolting Cocks, Gary Numan, Ministry, BB King, The Dresden Dolls, This Mortal Coil, The Phantom of the Opera.....

Movies:

Many. Horror, action, comedy, foreign flicks are me favorite. The City of Lost Children, Babbette's Feast, Run Lola Run, The Lord of the Rings, and so many more.

Television:

Rarely watch it.. but mostly I watch the Food Channel, Discover, CNN, news, and comedy. Usually I pop in a DVD and have at it.

Books:

Almost to many to list...but I'll try: The Tao of Pooh, The Lord of the Rings/ The Hobbit, Michael Porter's 5 Forces, Peter Drucker (Quality), The Hitchhikers guide series, La Rouse, The Escoffier Cookbook, William Shakespeare, Sherlock Homes....
