Yo, I’m Jaymo.
I run a night called Moda with my friends Andy George, Benni Cassette & Ingo Staar. In 18 months we’ve gone from a 300 person launch party, to selling out a 1500 capacity super-venue & being broadcast to the world on Radio 1! We’d be nothing with the Moda army though- the youngest, coolest, sexiest bunch over over-excitable nocturnal ravers in the UK, maybe even the world! You ROCK!!
I also DJ; sometimes on my own and sometimes with my Moda cohort Andy George. We recently recorded an Essential Mix for Radio 1, which showcases our jump-up, block-party sound- you should check it out!
I make & remix records too. I’ve done stuff for Skint, Rising Trax & Salacious & have upcoming releases with some of the UK’s coolest imprints. My tracks have made their way onto compilation CD’s as well as being signed to other labels overseas, which is quite cool.
As Moda contunines to position itself as one of the coolest club brands in the UK, & with yet more 1500 person parties planned for Autumn, it looks like the futures bright... The future neon pink!
