"Ben Atkins, to most, is a live musician. Playing for a list of bands and artists as long as your Monday morning face, Ben has been on the live scene since the tender age of 14. Playing Bass, Drums and Guitars at gigs in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Sheffield before he was even old enough to buy a lottery ticket, this aspiring multifaceted music making machine looks set to go places.
Not satisfied with simply playing and presenting gigs, Ben ventured towards promoting them too. His acoustic-based nights have been a huge success, injecting his unique blend of youthful energy into a range of Lincolnshire’s best venues.
Promoting, playing, presenting and managing live music events, Ben finally came across a form of music which went against everything he had done in the past.Preaching from the Electronic gospel, Ben’s love affair with dirty House/Electro first took flight in 2005. Finally old enough to legally be in a club, it seemed like a natural progression to join forces with three other promoters and unleash the most exciting party Lincoln has ever seen- Moda!
Ben’s promising debut appearance at MODA’s Boxing Day event prompted a flurry of messages requesting his return to the decks. As the Moda frontline pushes further forward with every event, it seems Ben Atkins will be taking his fair share of hostages."
