From the first published work of Gertrude Stein - Three Lives - the performance ..Essenzial_mente Ritmo.. explores the individual-rhythmic essence, through the three characters Anna, Lena and Melanchta, and interprets the three paintings Gertrude Stein is inspired by.Every element becomes rhythm itself: from the linguistic and psychological rhythm, to the physical, musical and visual, including the scenic one, this performance at the same time connects and distinguishes between them. It can be caught through the noises, sounds and voices of everyday life: the RHYTHM leads us, it beats our thoughts.. and actions.. time. At the same time, an apparently untouchable rhythm inside us, the deepest, the most intimate, the most hidden one, is inevitably slowed down, speeded up or contaminated by the ..external rhythm.. that the society induces in different ways. Where is the border between apparent/external rhythm and real rhythm? This hidden human essence and our own characteristic rhythm concern the literary and linguistic experimentations of Gertrude Stein, brave precursor in early 20th Century Paris but, at the same time, incredibly contemporary.Dance: Besides improvisation, choreographies are composed according to an accurate study of the text, staging the psychological and linguistic rhythm of the characters.
Music: The soundtrack combines drumming, percussion (Hang), computer composition and programming, playing with the harmonisation of rhythm and melody as well as with its distortion.
Architecture/Installation: The installation of ..Plastique Fantastique.. is a pneumatic spherically-shaped space, employed also as a video projection surface.
Video: Video has not merely a pure visual presence, but rhythmic too. The video plays with the repetition of still images as well as with close ups of chosen choreographic sections, conveying different points of view at the same time.

Dalla prima opera pubblicata di Gertrude Stein, Three Lives, la performance ..Essenzial_mente Ritmo.. esprime la ricerca di questa essenza individuale e ritmica, attraverso le tre protagoniste, Anna, Lena e Melanctha e interpreta le tre opere pittoriche a cui la Stein si .. ispirata. Ogni espressione artistica diventa essa stessa ritmo: dal ritmo linguistico e psicologico, a quello fisico, musicale, visivo e scenico in una performance che contemporaneamente congiunge e distingue ritmi diversi.
Si coglie nei rumori della vita quotidiana, nei suoni, nelle voci: il RITMO ci guida, scandisce il tempo dei nostri pensieri, delle nostre azioni. Contemporaneamente un ritmo dentro di noi, quello pi.. profondo, pi.. intimo, pi.. nascosto e apparentemente intaccabile .. inevitabilmente rallentato, velocizzato o contaminato da quello esterno che la societ.. in tanti modi impone. Dov.... il confine tra il ritmo esteriore e quello reale?
L..essenza nascosta, quel ritmo vitale della mente e della personalit.. attraversa la sperimentazione letteraria e linguistica di Gertrude Stein, coraggiosa innovatrice nella Parigi dei primi del ..900 ma incredibilmente a noi contemporanea.
Danza: Oltre a momenti di improvvisazione, le coreografie nascono da un attento studio del ritmo del linguaggio e dei pensieri del personaggio. Musica: La colonna sonora nasce dalla combinazione di batteria, Hang, computer composition e programming, giocando sia sull..armonizzazione di ritmo e melodia che sulla la sua distorsione.
Architettura/Installazione: L..installazione di ..Plastique Fantastique.. .. uno spazio pneumatico di forma sferica, utilizzata come superficie di proiezione video.
Video: Il video non ha una presenza puramente visiva, ma anche ritmica. Le immagini giocano sia sulla ripetizione di fotogrammi che sulla contemporaneit.. di diversi punti di vista attraverso close up d..immagini rielaborate dalla stessa coreografia.
