I am here for Dating, Friends and Networking

About Me

I am a handsome, sexy, fun loving, outdoor enjoying, extroverted kind of guy who loves to write poetry , short stories , and romance dramas . My interests are varied, and I rarely find the patience to sit still doing nothing preferring adventure and excitement of all kinds.Currently, I practice clinical massage therapy and reiki , and I am working toward my naturopathic doctorate degree to practice medicine as a naturopath physician. I spent the last six years in the US Army having joined at the age of 16, and I do not recommend military service for anyone seeking to learn a job skill or trade. Why? As I have learned the hard way, civilian employers and state licensing boards do not recognize military instruction as valid training.I spend my free time exploring the world of House music , learning the electronic dance music promotion business, and studying druidic shamanism .At present, I am working on a new book on reiki and energy manipulation as well as ever expanding my collection of poetry for periodic release.I perform my poetry live each week at Poetic Nights hosted by The Ohm Nightclub in Portland from 09:00PM-01:00AM.Aspiring Writers! Visit Looking Within and join for free to share your writing with other authors who are eager to give you feedback on your poetry as well as read a lot of great new poems from other artists. I operate the site along with Soulful Pen .

My Interests

I have a receptiveness to new and different ideas/experiences, but I especially enjoy reading poetry , studying world religions , watching movies , writing , (my family yelled at me and told me to take sex off of here), playing poker , listening to music , submission wrestling , and going dancing . Life is about living, and living is about trying all that the world has to offer. Once you stop experiencing new things, then you might as well be dead .

I'd like to meet:

I enjoy the excitement of meeting all types of people! My only requirement is that they enjoy having fun, take delight in trying new things, and respect me as a person. If you see me around town and don't say "Hello!" to me, then I will be really disappointed with you.Furthermore, ANYONE who cannot respect me and the choices I have made in my life do NOT have a place in my life: period.
I am neither a snob or a class elitist, and I have an aptitude for finding something to like in everyone I meet. I find a person more attractive when they are able to challenge me intellectually than charm me with a sexy appearance as looks fade with time.

Music:

Country music , House music , Alternative rock , and music from the 1980's .
See me sing on YouTube !

Movies:

I enjoy going out to the theater once a week to see what's new on the silver screen and watching DVD movies at home. I watch all movies (except horror movies because I think they are just moronic ).

Television:

I love watching TV when I've got the spare time which is not often, but when I do get the time I enjoy: World Series of Poker , World Poker Tour , Celebrity Poker , and Adult Swim .

Books:

Great Expectations by Charkes Dickens
Around the World on Sixty Dollars by Robert Meredith
Little Britches series by Ralph Moody
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott

Heroes:

I am my own hero.
