About Me

English version: Alex Raider was born in Rome, on July 1976, showing since his first years his passion for music. Grown under the sonorous influence of “The Dark Side of The Moon” and “Ummagumma” of Pink Floyd, he moves with his family in Ciociaria, where he still lives in. At 9 years old, he starts to play his father’s guitar, a 12 Strings “Eko Ranger”, and then subsequently he bought an economic classic guitar to seriously study music. On the next 2 years, he understands that his very vocation is electro-acoustic and electronic music, switching from classic guitar to electric-guitar. At 13 years old he starts to play in a local band and, after a sequence of line-up changes, he debuts on stage at 16 years old in a local bands contest. While playing with his band, with his guitarist and computer-expert friend, Maurizio Fumini, he become to set up an home studio, recording a demo. His idea was to merge the so called “played music” with the electronic / sampled music, and so he dropped the project of the classic “live band” and he become a member of the band “Radioattivi”, driven by AlvinDrake on the Bass and DJ Q, actual scratcher of “Boo Boo Vibration”. With “Radioattivi” he records his first cd, approaching progressively electronic music, and, after countless performances on stage, he decides to commit all his work on studio production only. On December 2002, he approaches to the House scene, thanks to his collaboration with Enrico BSJ Ferrari, Angelo Fun-K Raggi and Danny’s Secondino, on the project House x & the sex-o-exe "Rumba & Bumba", published on Rise label. From his published works, we must remember the “From Ciociaria with dub”, ep 1 and 2, in collaboration with Santos and Alex Dolby, Undo/Redo’s “The Voyager” with BSJ, Alex Raider’s “The alchemistical Cave EP” and the remix “Summer 4 – Let the feeling show” of Earth Wind & Fire.
