Syd Barrett

I joined a band in 1964 which I helped name The Pink Floyd Sound from two random blues men, Pink Anderson and Floyd Council. I just liked how the names sounded together. I came to lead the group writing such songs as See Emily Play, and Arnold Layne, only to be kicked out five years later. I have two solo albums; The Madcap Laughs, and Barret.
