Last night I dreamt that somebody loved me

About Me

Get Your Own! | View SlideshowI'm the shy quiet type but am a bit of a fool when i've had a few bevvies (even though I'm officially the slowest drinker in the world - ask Norris McWhirter if you don't believe me!) Somehow I always seem to be drawn to a stage if there is one in the establishment in which i am boogying! Upturned crates shall suffice in the absence of a bonafide stage or podium...Some random things I like: Candlelit baths; being all snug in bed when it's cold, raining and windy outside; walking along the beach back home in Scotland when it's deserted - just the sound of the waves (a million miles from London!); walking in the woods back home with nothing but the sound of the birds and the trees swaying in the breeze; the smell of freshly cut grass, creosote on fences and chimernee fires; having my hair cut; nice cards and postcards; being with mates and talking nonsense; seeing bands; badges; going to the cinema/theatre; having a good ol' boogy; Scrabble tournaments; stripey jumpers and tops; IKEA; the Victoria Line coz it's sooooo fast; spending money (especially when I ain't got none); waking up early on a Saturday morning and realising I don't have to get up for work... Oh, and chocolate.

Hanging out with chums (usual haunts include Good Mixer in Camden, Hope & Anchor in Islington, Retro Bar, Trash Palace etc), breathing, eating, sleeping, going to gigs, having a good ol' boogy (usually at one of the following discotheques: Unskinny Bop, Popstarz, Misshapes, Duckie, Electric Dreams, Rebel Rebel, The Glitz, Club Mofo, Pretty In Pink, Ghost School, Feeling Gloomy), trawling charity shops and markets for cheap tat (especially Spitalfields/Portobello/Camden), eating chocolate, going to cinema, reading, eating some more chocolate, watching Nighty Night and Prisoner: Cell Block H too much and spending waaaaaaaaay too much time on this interweb thingymabob!!... oh and then consuming some more chocolate.

I'd like to meet:

Some more village eejits!! Especially ones who like similar musak/TV/films/books etc and, most importantly, like to go to the same sorta discotheques and shake their ass on the dancefloor, or like going to gigs etc. MAKE YOURSELF KNOWN TO ME GODDAMIT!!

NB: I am now only really adding people/bands/clubs etc I know in real life to my friends list. But if I don't know you and you think I really should, please feel free to message me with details of the proposal, along with a minimum of three (yes, 3) valid reasons and I will give your request some consideration! Please ensure the message is no longer than 250 characters in length okthxbi
