Rictus Grin

13 lucky years of Old School Metal in N.C.

About Me

Rictus Grin has been playing together with the current line up for over 13 years. Though originally called Bad Penny in the late 80's and early 90's, they changed their name to Rictus Grin by 1995 to better suit their harder edged sound as they transitioned from hard rock into heavy metal.
While they all share Vocal duties on different songs, the instumental side is consistant. Rictu Grin is: David Ellenburg on guitars, Jerry Lee Cloer on drums, and Dave Steelman on bass and assorted acoustics.
Their wall of sound mixed up with their big bag of tricks, one that would make Carrot Top jealous, bludgeon fans and old folks alike.
Check out their official web site at www.thegrinyard.com...and pic up the new cd, b.o.h.i.c.a. while there!!!
