Influences: Heavy, hard, doom, blues rock. (Black Sabbath, Government Mule, etc.)
Sounds Like: Heavy, dark, melodic, soulful... though they possess the requisite doom and gloom stylings to place themselves squarely in the stoner rock camp, Place of Skulls adds a unique spiritual touch to their music that gives heft and thoughtfulness to their mastodon crunch. As blue and molten as ever, Place of Skulls delivers all the ear-damaging intensity heavy rock fans are hungry for, along with food for thought that isn't usually found between the lines of similar bands.
