About Me

TeeJay began developing his love for dance music at the early age of 14. He got his start as a dancer with involvement in a variety of dance groups and eventually began promoting his own parties. Because he was constantly surrounded by music and its culture, he couldn't help but want to take it to the next level. There was never any second-guessing; the next level was becoming a deejay. At the age of 18, TeeJay began to spin soulful house music. Because of all the similarities to the music he had grown up on, he truly found his niche in this scene. Hungry for exposure, he began utilizing his natural-born talent and started playing small parties in northern California. In 2003 he got the attention of SF veteran Ruben Mancias and was asked to become a staple of the Devotion legacy, opening up for Ruben and global guests. After proving himself on many occasions he became a regular deejay for Devotion SF and was signed under the Devoted Artist Management. You may periodically catch one of TeeJay's soulful sets at other SF clubs such as Pink, Remedy, Cardiff Lounge, and Mighty. At the age of 24 TeeJay has already played with the likes of Timmy Regisford, David Harness, Danny Krivit, Joe Clausell, DJ Spen, Quentin Harris, Miguel Migs, Mauricio Aviles, Craig C., Luis Radio, Antonio Ocasio, Ruben Mancias and many other recognizable artists. TeeJay is definitely not an act to be missed. With his energy behind the decks, as well as his great music selection, this young up-and-comer is considered to be an integral part in the future of San Francisco House Music.
