Combining infectious pop melodies with dirty dance beats and original tongue in cheek lyrics, January 2007 saw David Wilson (keys/programming) & Fiona Grace (vocals) begin writing & recording songs that collectively a year later would make up their first album 'Taking Me Over'. The first song the band recorded, was the electro/pop track 'Smack Me', which was quickly picked up by many local DJ's and played in various clubs in Liverpool & Manchester and experienced radio air play. The band's name, 'Untouched', was chosen as an ironic play on the tracks controversial lyrics.
Untouched began gigging after just a few months of being together. Their first gig was to a crowd of over 5,000 at Crewe's 'Party in the Park'. Since then they have played to fans in a variety of other venues in the North of England and Scotland and are currently working with a full live band.
A year down the line and 'Untouched' have finished writing and recording their first album featuring more electro/pop gems including 'Make You Feel Good' and 'Loving You Has Made Me Stronger'. They have also shot a promo video for 'Smack Me'. Set in a grungy basement in the centre of Liverpool, the video features the full band and over 30 dancers and break dancers.
