LastSafeDub is the collaboration between Kostas Spiral and Steve Selph, whose paths came together under the shadow of the moon, while attending to their turntable duties at the LIZZARD festival(Cornwall,UK) back in 1999.. Ever since then, music exploitance was their common joint point!Kostas started spinning records of electronic dance music back in Athens,in early 1994.He’s the founder and owner of LOOPSNOO company, from 2000 till the end of its activities in 2006. Loopsnoo firm‘s included an independent Recording Label ,a Distribution company through the Greek territory, a Vinyl RecordShop in Athens and a DJ Agency handling international artists. As a DJ, he has managed the last 12 years to play in most of serious clubs and bars in Athens as well as in Manchester(UK) ,Cornwall (UK) ,Norwich (UK) ,Amsterdam(NL) and Belgrade (SRB)Stephen has been at the heart of the electronic music scene since his university days in Manchester, UK 96-2003. Promoter of various nights, Ossicles, Spirit and Sunrise(formally global Sunrise), and dejaying all over north of england, Sunrise, Spirit, Alien Resonance, Jester, Freewheeling, Kulu, Sci-tec, Relativity, etc.. playing all genres of music from trance, ambient and progressive to drum 'n' bass and dub. In 2000, Stephen dejayed in Washington USA, Exuma in the Bahamas(real rasta stuff) and after visiting many greek islands, he moved to the sunnier climes of Athens, Greece, exploring the scene/beaches//beats further. His recent projects include working with Aris Rodis as 'Squared Curves', Vas Irrational as 'Casual Holmes', as well as his own project, 'Selphxpression'.Now, with their finished debut album under their belts, LastSafeDub strongly believe that dub music is the path forward and the way to get off, on a bit of a tangent!
