Squared Curves | i-drop

Aris Rodis & Stephen Self combine to form Squared Curves. Both developed a passion for music since a very young age, they met up in Manchester djing back to back in the depths of underground trance parties, such as Sunrise, Ossicles, Mescalix, Spirit, Alien Resonance, Kulu and loads more, in the UK & overseas. Aris was born in Athens, Greece, moved to Manchester, UK back in 1999 and got deeply influenced by British electronic music scene. In 2004 after studying and working as audio engineer he began his career as a producer. In 2005 he released the track "Uniformilarity" along with Allaby on Nano records (Natural Selection - compiled by Protoculture) . Since then, his style kept developing, transforming itself and getting richer with more and different musical influences. Stephen, was born in Newcastle and developed a love for the piano from the age of 4. He then studied at Manchester, where he became involved in the electronik music scene, promoting and djaying various nights. He moved to Greece in 2003. It was here that he started to dabble in music production, and over the last 2 years he has collaborated on projects with Kosta Spiral (remixing Reead - im not crazy, soon to be released on Roll Records) and working on their Lastsafedub album, also workin with Vas Indra as Casual Holmes as well as working on his own projects Selphxpression and Ossicles. Squared Curves have been making music together since early 2004. Even though there is about 3000 miles between their two studios this dosen't seem to cause any problems as can be heard from their crystal clear music productions. And with they're first album due to be released 2008, the doors are opening very quickly to the boys who are loaded with all the requirements to rock any dancefloor, whether it be wood, concrete mud or sand!....................................................... ......................................................
