Andrea*s Gardens

Hi & thanx for checking out my page. I'm the ultimate garden hoe-in the true sense of the word. If you have soil, I want to be in it :-) I'm also a very, very big fan of music. Very big fan. Metal, Gothic, Industrial, Hardcore, some Hip Hop (Kottonmouth Kings & the Subnoize Family from So. Cali.) are a few of my favorite things.I'm a gardener. I am not a photographer. I'm just a gardening freak armed with a digital camera & I'm not afraid to use it! I deeply thank every single friend who compliments my pictures & I love them for their comments. YOU RULE!These pics are (for the most part) of my garden at my friend Doug's house in Morris County NJ. He & I started taking over his 3/4 acre piece of property almost 8 years ago. Our friend Tom has joined us the last 4 years & 8 years later we are still going strong. We add & try new plants every year which we start mostly from our seeds saved from the previous year. I either buy new seeds from the bazillion seed & flower catalogs I get or I go online. Doug's now fenced in his entire piece of property which is 8 feet high (it may look bad but I don't care. Too much time & money are invested to let the animals have a nightly buffet on me). Gardening is the most fun a girl can have in the dirt if you ask me. I now work for a wholesale florist & supply company. I was working for a fresh cut flower importer & distributor but the new owner ran it into the ground & closed it down. This is/was the 2nd time working for the same company; almost 7 years in total so far. I have also worked for a Dutch couple for 3 years who own a flower bulb importer/dist. company & that was really cool. I learned SO much about all the different types & kinds of bulbs/flowers & planting them, etc. My parents had way cool Japanese gardens when I was little & would always drag us to the garden center & then make us help plant & weed. Hated it then but now I'm so happy they did that. Gardening is my ultimate addiction & probably more expensive then heroin. HA!! That was some garden humor for ya!!!!Hope you enjoy the pics.
