We are living in Texas, have two grown children, lots of birds, dogs and assorted wildlife that live in the backyard; to include a coyote. I retired from the military after 22 years in 1990. I was an air traffic controller and a flight operations NCO. I used to ride motorcycles a lot in my younger days, until I dropped my wife not once- but three times. I have 0 grandchildren. I have spent a year in Nam, 8 years in Germany and 1 in Turkey plus lived and traveled in the US and Europe a bit. I have visited Macedonia often, my wife's native country.I'm on myspace because my daughter made me. She thought I would enjoy making friends across the globe, who have similiar interests. I am always at peace in the garden and like to share stories and hear others. I am an avid collector of succulent and cactus plants. Mostly into succulents such as euphorbia, dorstenia, pachypodiums and the like.I'm currently looking forward to retire in 6 months and devoting my time to my current hobbies and learning new ones.
