Both of them were born and raised in Gloucester, which is where the name of the label comes from (junction 11 of the M5). The label is dedicated to putting out dancefloor drum & bass of the finest calibre.Junction 11 Records first release is a double A-side dancefloor ripper from Malfoy.
After making his debut release on Calpyso Musak with the massive ‘Bear Hunter’ follwed with 'Lucky Numbers b/w Galleries' .. Records, there has been a huge buzz about Malfoy.Street Fight is a hook driven bass fest, with a rolling amen beat to carry the tune through. Labryinth on the flip side has a more choppy feel, yet still keeps the rolling edge to it. Both tunes have proved themselves on the floor
and have been getting smashed by the likes of TC, Die, Hype,
Ash Attack & Heist to name but a few.For the second release Junction 11 are proud to present two tracks from System Shock Recordings head honcho, Callide.
Callide has been making quite a name for himself in the scene over the last year, with releases on XS Recordings, Source, Deadly Records and of course his own label, System Shock.City of Angels, a slightly different offering from Callides usual, kicks off with sweet, yet eerie strings which roll through out the steadily building intro. As it moves towards the drop the vocal hook shouting 'Stand Up' tells you exactly what you need to do.
No Sound Test, on the flip, sticks more to the sound that we have come to know and love from Callide. Both tracks have been getting worked over on the circuit. Pure dancefloor action!!
