//HÃ¤rte und Melodie gepaart mit GefÃ¼hl und Verletztheit, gehÃ¶ren zur musikalischen und emotionalen Basis von Virus, welche sich in ihrem eigenen Stil ,einer Mixtur aus gitarrengetriebenen Grunge, Metal und einfachem Rock bedienen. Seit der GrÃ¼ndung von Virus 2001 haben alle 5 Musiker in verschiedenen Bands unterschiedlicher Musikstilrichtungen gespielt, was heute durch die Erfahrung und die MusikalitÃ¤t dem harmonischen Ablauf und dem EntstehungsprozeÃŸ der Musik zugute kommt. Trotz einiger personellen Umbesetzungen am Schlagzeug und einer nicht immer leichten Zeit, haben Virus niemals den Glauben verloren sich gemeinsam Ziele zu setzen und zu erreichen. Die Songs handeln von Emotionen, Erlebnissen, EindrÃ¼cken und Themen wie zwischenmenschlichen Beziehungen, dem alltÃ¤glichen Kampf mit seiner Umwelt und mit sich selbst. Bei allem sind dem ZuhÃ¶rer genug RÃ¤ume geschaffen um seinen eigenen Ansichten und Interpretationen Platz zu geben. Im Mai 2005 verÃ¶ffentlichten Virus ihr Debutalbum â€žSick of liesâ€œ welches in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Produzent Rolf Munkes (Empire, Razorback) entstand. Bandzuwachs mit Chris V. (Keys&Samples) seit 2006. Zur Zeit arbeitet die Band an neuen Songs fÃ¼r ihr zweites Album.////Severity and melody coupled with feeling and vulnerability belong to the musical and emotional foundation of Virus. The band uses a mixture of guitar-driven grunge, metal and pure rock. Since the founding of Virus in 2000, its five members have continued to play in various bands and follow differing styles of musical productivity. This diversity has positively contributed to the current musical and creative process. Despite the lack of a permanent drummer in the past and sundry other obstacles, the band members have never lost faith in their ability to establish and reach common goals. The songs themselves deal with emotions, experiences, impressions and topics such as human interaction and the daily struggle with the world both around and within us. The audience is provided ample room for their interpretations and opinions to relate to the music. Through the established cooperation with Rolf Munkes (Empire, Razorback) as producer, and the opportunity to sign a record contract, the debut album â€˜Sick of Liesâ€™ came out in May 2005. Virus became a new member (Chris V. /Keys&Samples) in 2006. At the moment the band is still working for the second album.//
