ILEUS ( NEW SONG "LIGHTS" ONLINE)

Ileus is a young and aspiring band, consisting of five passionate musicians, who love to be on stage. The crowd can feel their passion and determinedness in every song, in every move.Ileus give hundred per cent on every show and the energy infects the crowd already in the first seconds of the set. Although they founded in a small town in western germany (may '03), ileus can look back at concerts all over the country with famous acts like, "Maroon", "Machinemade God", In Blood We Trust", "Days In Grief" and "Fire in The Attic".Looking at these names it does not seem too difficult to guess right about ileus' style of music. Most people say it is something between "alternative" and "hardcore" and they're not wrong with that. Anyhow, ileus themselfs like to call their music emotional mosh. The influences reach from Hardcore / Metalcore Bands like It Dies Today or Misery Signals to Metal or New Metal Bands like Killswitch Engage, Linkin Park, Deftones and even Metallica. So, you can see that there is a wide spectrum of individual influences in their music.In April 07 Ileus recorded a seven song ep at the "Kohlekeller Studios" near Darmstadt. The work with the producers was great and now the band is proud of the result. The Ep will be released in June or Juli 07 so stay tuned!
