ESQUIRE has had a vaild poetic license since he was 10. In the still of most evenings, the Barrington Apartments roared with the freestyling of a then 20 year old Esquire and many others, usually until "Drunk o' clock in the morning." He has had various influences while growing up in Dayton, Ohio, a city known for cultivating musical excellence in many genres. From The Notorious B.I.G to A Tribe Called Quest, Ghostface Killa to Outkast, Twista to The Fugees, Cam'ron to Lil' Wayne, Mos Def, and so on, Esquire has absorbed a witty, descriptive, story-esqe delivery. Serious when it comes to writing, Esquire is just as passionate inside the booth; penning both edgy-seductive flows and raw, "did he really say that..." lyrical content. Lord, they are gonna hate ME.
