Sun Satellite was launched in November of 2006 with an ongoing primary mission of musical exploration. Built from components comprising several previous models (At The Mercy Of Inspiration, Haddonfield, The Turn It Ups, Dear Jane I), Sun Satellite took advantage of this rare once-every-189-years alignment of musical bodies to slingshot to the outer reaches of heavy rock music. Sun Satellite’s output is massive, vast, sonorous, and indicative of a complex internal structure.
Through Sun Satellite’s work we have gained much knowledge of powerful musicianship, particularly as it applies to thundering rhythm sections, in addition to the exhilarating impact of well crafted words and melodies, and carving lead guitar phenomena. The keen observer will find first hand, study of Sun Satellite to be exceptionally rewarding and potentially life changing. Sun Satellite is most readily viewable during the night time.
