About Me

John Lawson is the author of two POD published books, Witch Ember and its sequel, The Raven.
He also has two other novels completed and is actively working towards their publication. His goal is to find a more mainstream publisher for these books.
Sample chapters:
Witch Ember Prologue
The Raven Prologue
He is a professional technical writer and online help developer.
His first books have been fairly well-received, so he is hoping eventually he'll establish a track record of quality writing that will get the attention of a good agent or publishing house.
YOU'RE TOTALLY SARCASTIC
You sarcastic? Never! You're as sweet as a baby bunny.
Seriously, though, you have a sharp tongue - and you aren't afraid to use it.
And if people are too wimpy to deal with your attitutde, then too bad. So sad. How Sarcastic Are You?
I'M GOING TO HELL!
The Dante's Inferno Test has banished me to the Fifth Level of Hell!
The river Styx runs through this level of Hell, and in it are punished the wrathful and the gloomy. The former are forever lashing out at each other in anger, furious and naked, tearing each other piecemeal with their teeth. The latter are gurgling in the black mud, slothful and sullen, withdrawn from the world. Their lamentations bubble to the surface as they try to repeat a doleful hymn, though with unbroken words they cannot say it. Because I lived a cruel, vindictive and hateful life, I meet my fate in the Styx.
(I guess that means I'm EMO)
Here is how I matched up against all the levels:
Level Score
Purgatory (Repenting Believers) Very Low
Level 1 - Limbo (Virtuous Non-Believers) Very Low
Level 2 (Lustful) High
Level 3 (Gluttonous) Very High
Level 4 (Prodigal and Avaricious) Moderate
Level 5 (Wrathful and Gloomy) Very High
Level 6 - The City of Dis (Heretics) Very High
Level 7 (Violent) Very High
Level 8 - the Malebolge (Fraudulent, Malicious, Panderers) Moderate
Level 9 - Cocytus (Treacherous) Moderate Take the Dante's Inferno Hell Test
Which Battlestar Galactica character are you?
You are Commander William Adama. You are a born leader. People respect you and you deserve their respect. You are also sensitive and striving. Your family means very much to you.
