Rig and Dig were born in the little town of Tielt where they went to the same boring schools and cafés. They grew up to become both big nerds! Rigital now works at the university of Ghent becoming professor and Digital is a medical doctor going for psychiatry.
Fortunately they can set there brainiac minds aside with the same passion for electronic music and beer. It all started with rock and grunge but evolved to the French house with a touch of d’n’b in the times of daft punk and roni size. They began dj’ing together at home and at some local parties mostly in Ghent. Soon both got infected by the electro-virus. Becoming resident of the Londenbeat organization and their own gigs, the Abu sessions & especially the Elektrocuted’s was a good way up.
They already played at clubs like decadance and rector in Ghent but also at the famous sugarfactory in Amsterdam and café 'de scheete' in Poelkappelle.
With Elektrocuted in ghent they try to offer on a monthly base qualitative but also payable “free-entry†elektro-gigs. Some of the finest elektro dj’s as Oliver Huntemann (GER), Jesper Dahlback (SWE), Dexter (NL), unit 4 (GER), Dj Dan, Yves-Bash, Cosy Mozzy, Legowelt (NL), Spacid, Psytox, Diepvries, Mandrak, level jay, C-Mikron,.... were already kicking the place.
On other party's Rig & Dig already played together with Luke slater (UK), Oxia (FR), Justin Berkovi (AUS), Ken Ishii (JAP), Monika Kruse (GER), Space Dj's (UK), Steffi (NL), Carlos valdez (NL), Jan Van Biesen, Marco baily, T-Quest, St-Dic, Ed&Kim, Buscemi, Sivec-one, Dimitri Andreas and many more!
From Rigital and Digital, you can expect some classic off-beat rocking techno and off course lot’s of elektro, going from minimal over italo, breakz, cold wave, tech-house to electro-tech! Don't forget them dancing shoes!!!
