When words leave off, music begins.

About Me

I was born and grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I was into music since I can remember. I grew up playing guitar and listening to very varied music such as classical, rock, metal, jazz, pop, tango and others. When I was 17, after hearing and playing the music of Antonio Carlos Jobim, I decided I wanted to be a composer instead of a guitarist and started studying composition and harmony. These studies brought me over 10 years ago to the US, and to New York City, where I live nowadays.I've worked on music for several films, plays, choreographs and installations, and I produced/collaborated with a number of musicians. Music is, for good and bad, my life... I can't think of any other thing I'd rather - or could- do instead. For over a year now I've been playing guitar and composing with Puracane (Ali Rogers, Andrew Griffiths, Drew Thurlow and me). It's being an awesome experience on both musical and social levels. Strangely enough, it is not easy to find people in which musical and personal directions coincide, and I consider myself very lucky about it.About the music in this page, I'm always working on my own tracks and ideas. Sometimes more, sometimes less, sometimes by myself, sometimes with other musicians. There are no particular style or reason I'm after when I work on my music, each track responds to a certain moment and a certain intention. I have an album of this music in the works for a while now, but 2007 will be the year for it to see the light. Until then, hear some of the music here, let me know what you think, show me some of your stuff, and keep in touch. -
