Iron Lung Promotions was born in late 2006. We started it out of a lack of promoters bringing truly underground bands to Northern Louisiana.
Iron Lung Promotions began as an offshoot of the now defunct website Monroemetalnews.com. The website was a staple in the Northern Louisiana metal community for many years. Monroe Metal News gave many great bands a place to be heard such as: Black Market Ministry, Etched In Stone (R.I.P.), Mecurial, Cancer Whore, Attyla (now Dhalsim), Stricken Zero (R.I.P.), Boudain and the Holy Electric Sausage Kitchen, Jimmie Jack and The Proper Propaganda and so man more. As Myspace grew the site became obsolete and so was shut down.
We have made it our goal to bring bands that the other promoters are scared to work with. Bands that don't get exposure. We Specialize in Sludge, Doom, Crust & Stoner Rock And we also work with some Dirty Punk, Death Metal & Grind. Sorry XxXNuXXcorexX you guys have enough promoters to work with..... And we're not really into you.
