In a world of hip-hop where musical debauchery lurks around every turn, where the landscape is littered with "bling-bling" dreams and fictitous thuggery, a land where money comes before integrity and self indulgence comes before morals, a culture that is a microcosm of our society in America and the world abroad, this is where Dale Baker lives to change the surroundings one listener at a time. Through his aggressive flow and intellegent yet witty rhymes he takes on this culture to open their eyes to the life that awaits them. Dale Baker is a Detroit bred emcee who works feverishly to change the lives of his listeners, peers, and colleagues. His high energy show is admired by many as he's worked with heavyweights of the industry from D-12 to the most respected of underground crews that any hip-hop head would admire. Even after a torrid pace of doing over two hundred shows in a year, his adrenaline and his call to be the voice of reason in hip-hop seems to never pause. He released his first solo album entitled World Anti-Famous in the summer of 2007. The album greeted with rave reveiw. He is currently working on a new album for the summer of 2008 entitled The Canary in the Coal Mine. It will be released on The Koch label. There is a sense of urgency in his music with an intensity that hasn't been captured since Public Enemy. The theme of the album is to change the world and a sense of using every moment to your advantage. Dale is not here just to express skills on the mic, of which he has plenty. He is here to open the eyes of the blind, direct the lost to be found, enlighten the ignorant, and to show the world that there is more to life than just trying to make it another day. Dale Baker is offering hope, truth, strength, wisdom, understanding and love to his audience and to you the listener. It's now up to you to press play. Will you?
