Bingy Nyah

Who is Nyah? Well Darren Kerr a.k.a "Bingy Nyah" was born on November 3rd 1978 in the twin island of Trinidad & Tobago to the loving parents of Fenwrick Kerr and Ann Kerr. Being the 3rd of four children he was captured to the music by many musicians in those days like Spoiler, Bomer, David Rudder, Bob Marley, Beenie man, The Lord Kitchiner, The Mighty Sparrow and his favorite of all The Mighty Shadow to name a few of his influences. Nyah started singing at the age of age 9 when he was entered in the San-Fernando Boys Government School Calypso Competation which soon after he was facinated by Steel pan music so he stop singing and started playing music at the age of 10 with the Hatters Steel Orchestra which was located in San-Fernando Trinidad. He played with Hatters untill the age of 17 where between that time he played with many different bands such as Lee Chong's Pan Glow, Mo Town Steel Orchestra and San Fernando Government Secondary school band before he migrated to the U.S in 1996 and started playing with Tropical Ensamble Steel orchestra in Baltimore Maryland which at the time was a force to recon with between many bands in the area. During that time he started getting back into singing but just for the fun of it. After leaving Tropical Ensamble in 2004 he met a Local Singer by the name of Lance a.k.a "Jr Killa" who was originally from ths island of Tobago and another singer by the name of Marlon a.k.a "Demark!e Jo" who was originally from the island on Trinidad doing their thing which then he started getting back into the game when he was amazed by their talents which soon after the crew "Vandetta" was formed with "Jr Killa", "Bingy Nyah", "Demark!e Jo" and "Terra B". Currently he still resides in Baltimore Maryland and he is a working part of the "Fire Squad Ent." which was started by himself and Brandon Figaro a.k.a "Dj Scholarship" who is also from the island of Trinidad who was an acting member with the "Fireburn Sound" who heard the Vandetta Crew and decided to work with them in the "Fireburn Studio". He is also working with the crew Southside from New Jersey who is also from South Trinidad which consists of Kwasi a.k.a "Kemau" and Keston a.k.a "Suwee" a force to be recon with in the buisness. At this time Nyah is currently working an his upcoming promo album "Freedom Cry" which is soon to release in the near future....
