About Me

SPACE PROJECT is an audio-visual, improvising, electroacoustic rock quartet. Space Project is experimental yet accessible, traversing a number of genres allowing them to sit comfortably alongside a vast range of bands from many styles of rock, pop and experimental music.

Through the use of visual projections at performances Space Project create an immersive multimedia environment that reward audiences with an enticing and engaging journey that traverses vast audio-visual landscapes.

Space Project is the crossed paths of Adrian Barr (guitar, visuals), Ben Forbes (clarinet, vibraphone, keys), Jed Maisey (bass) and Matthew Robertson (percussion).

The immersive wash of the vibraphone, surreal guitar soundscapes, warm bass and mesmerising percussion flow into infectious grooves, intoxicating rhythms and soaring clarinet lines. Space Project effortlessly transforms the ethereal to the visceral and back again.
