I Vexation nascono a Cassino, provincia di Frosinone, a non molti chilometri da Roma.Il loro sound mira ad ottenere prevalentemente un valore atmosferico ed evocativo mantenendo pur sempre l’aggressività di stampo Metal, ispirati dai gruppi che hanno fatto la storia del genere. Gaetano e Pompeo, rispettivamente chitarrista e tastierista-chitarrista, fondano i Vexation appena quattordicenni nel 2002 con una line-up completamente diversa da quella di adesso che, dopo numerose sostituzioni,trova solidità con l’entrata del vocalist Erik che ha contribuito a definire le sonorità e le inclinazioni musicali del gruppo. Come bassista entra a far parte dei Vexation Pasquale con cui iniziano una serie di serate nei dintorni di Cassino. L’ultimo ad entrare è Francesco, il più piccolo ( 16 anni )che riesce a compattare e rendere ancora più aggressivi i brani. Con questa formazione entrano in studio per registrare “The Cronicles of Windâ€, il loro primo demo ufficiale in multitraccia a seguito di uno a presa live con componenti diversi La fase compositiva è curata dai fratelli Gaetano e Pompeo, dagli arrangiamenti che poi vengono strutturati e proposti al gruppo che ne da uno stampo personale. I testi vengono scritti da Gaetano che gira sulle tematiche esistenziali legate prettamente al rapporto dell' essere con la realt.. e l’immaginario. Al momento stanno promuovendo “The Cronicles of Wind†con diverse serate in attesa della stampa, nel frattempo lavorano su altri nuovi brani in previsione delle prossime registrazioni. Inoltre a breve sar.. disponibile il merchandising del gruppo esposto e proposto alla vendita nelle date prossime.
The Epic/Death-metal band VEXATION was born in Cassino (Frosinone), near Roma. Their sound wants to obtain essentially an evocative and an atmospheric valour just keeping however, a metal aggressiveness, inspired by a lot of metal bands, who made the story of this music genre.Gaetano and Pompeo, rispectively guitarist and keyborder/guitarist, found Vexation in 2002 whet they was only fourtheen years old, with a line-up so different by now, after some replacements, that aquires solidity with the entrance of the vocalist Erik that contributed to define sonorousness and musical inclinations of the band. Pasquale becomes part of Vexation to play the electric bass and with him they starts to play in concerts near Cassino. The last entrance is Francesco who gived more aggressivness to their style. With this formation they record their first Demo multitrack titled "The chronicles of wind".Lyrics are composed by Gaetano and talks about the human in relationship with the reality and the imaginary. Music is composed by both the brothers. Now the product is promouved during their lives and it is for sale while creating new traks for the next product.
