Hi, I'm Tru Hawkins. I've been a professional broadcaster for over 45 years. I started out spinning adult easy listening when I was 15 at KLAS in Las Vegas. In the 80's at KDWN I made the switch over to talk radio and found that what I ended up talking about the most was politics. It also turned out that I was very right wing. In fact I am a self proclaimed "Ultra Right Wing Wacko".
But there is a big difference between most of the hosts out there and myself. For one I am married to a psychic Reiki Master and consider myself very spiritual, but not religious. As a result I have a lots of guest on and explore a lot of views you wouldn't normally hear attached to a politically conservative show. I think the government should have as little to do with running peoples lives as possible, and definitely not be trying to define morality for them. If you want to be in the adult business or sell violent video games that should be your prerogative and the free market will decide your success.
