The Ardath born in the beginning of 2003.
Already in 1996 Alexander recorded a video with Paul, than together they formed the Madhouse and then the Inquisitors, but Paul went towards Pop Rock and Alexander towards Death, Brutal and Black, and so he formed the New Vomit. Here he would have sung and played the rhythm guitar, writing also several lyrics.
In the mean time, Daniel left his band and started searching for another band, so he joined the project and then Gabriel joined too.
Among lyrics, score and infernal books they found the name Ardath, the name of one of the three Lucifer’s lovers, the most despicable and disgusting. They chose that as name for their band and in this way Ardath were formed.
The line-up in the beginning was: Alexander (voice and guitar), Daniel (drums), Gabriel (keyboards).
They played an year in this way, trying to find a bass and a guitar player, but no one convinced them.
Alexander decided to make a demo, found a girl who sang and recall his friend Paul.
After innumerable rehearsals they did their first concert (16.05.04) and then they recorded the demo, Black Holy Sword.
Immediately after, Paul left the band and Gabriel followed his choice.
Only Alexander and Daniel remained and, collected the old recordings , with the help of an L.L.D. they recorded the second demo, Psychopath (2004/2005), with older songs than the ones in the first demo, but with a sound totally different from that, that seemed a sort of electronic black metal, almost gothic.
Psychopath was rough and dirt and that was the sound they wanted.
A night in a pub they met Anton, they knew he was a good guitarist, and he decided to joined them. A bass player missed…
Until the day Alexander met two guys that gave him their friend’s number, Gabry, who was a bass player.
He was exactly the bass player they were looking for. And they were the new Ardath, with a Melodic Thrash and a new line-up: Alexander (voice and guitar), Daniel (drums), Anton (solo guitar) and Gabry (bass).
After some musical incomprehension Anton left the band. The band was thinking about gave up when Gabry took there a friend, Fabio.
They made a rehearsal and found the sound that they have always looked for and now Ardath, with the new line-up and the new sound, are back and they are more bad and brawler than ever! And now prepare yourselves for the planet total devastation!
