Isaiah Griffin A.K.A. DJ IKE G-DA BIOGRAPHY: By any means necessary, a rider till the wheels fall off are all phrases repeatedly used from the streets to the suites of music industry executives when referencing Isaiah Griffin also known as DJ IKE G-DA. A trendsetter of Hip-Hop & R&B through music through radio, mixtapes and night clubs across the country, DJ IKE G-DA has surpassed the term contributor to this phenomenon culture. His smorgasbord of a resume has solidified urban lifestyles into tangible empires. In 1995, a passionate music lover turned a corner that would change the course of his life. To pick up extra cash, DJ IKE G-DA went from a dorm room DJ to one of the most sought after DJ’s in central Missouri where he was serving in the United States Airforce. His ability to blend and mix all genres of music earned DJ IKE G-DA tons of attention from the music industries finest. In late 1996 the United States Airforce moved DJ IKE G-DA to Berlin, Germany the relationships he made while being state side opened many doors for DJ IKE G-DA in Germany from DJ’ing with Hip Hop pioneers like Special Ed to up and coming stars like Camron. After DJ IKE G-DA’S tour overseas he moved back to Fayetteville NC where he could truly learn the game from his long time mentor and cousin DJ TONEY TONE. DJ IKE G-DA soaked up all the knowledge he could receive like a sponge in order to gain his own notoriety has one of the industries power DJ’s. Now over 10 years later DJ IKE G-DA’s grind is stronger than ever. In 2002 DJ IKE G-DA step his game up by starting his own promotion and marketing company TARHEEL PROMOTIONS AND MARKETING doing street, retail and radio promotions for various record labels including ROC-A-FELLA RECORDS. With the alliance of the Nations strongest and largest AND most influential DJ family the CORE DJ’S DJ IKE G-DA shows no indication of slowing down.
